Art Of Dying Vices And Virtues
Art Of Dying – Vices And Virtues
Relax this is not some goth band that would look embarrassing the fact that you are even thinking of listening to them. It is a whole lot more than that! Personally I have never been a fan of the band since I knew only one of their songs – get through this that WWE used as a theme song of NXT season two or three (can’t even count these there have been so many in a twelve month time).
I got the album from iTunes (you can get anything these days from there, can’t you). I was listening through the samples provided and I though this band deserves to be listened to so I bought the whole album to check it out. I was surprised by the amount of good songs available there. Since I am a WWE fanatic and get through this to me sounded like the highest peak of this band basically the cherry on the top of the cake. But I was wrong this CD has no filling material whatsoever! Any song from it has the potential to become the next smash. Combined with the isolated environment that I was located there was nothing around me besides the good music that I just purchased. Of course the very first song that I listened to was the NXT theme song since I haven’t found a good version of it on youtube. It turned out that the song had an actual extension of around a minute that I have either missed or WWE has decided to cut due to technical reasons I guess. So I liked the whole song as much as the TV version of it. Then I started to listen to the rest of the album starting with Die Trying. Song title says it all it is about never giving up on what you are on. A song that will definitely end up on my workout playlist it gives you this power boost something that only hardcore gym guys can understand.
For the Seether fans this band is something that you will like since I do find a lot in common between the two bands. AOD sounds close to Seether even better. I can’t get enough words to describe how good actually this album is. Whole world’s crazy, sorry, breathe again, completely, best I can and many others just captivated all my attention and to be fair I find very relaxing listening to them. Some may say it is a rock music going to metal all the way it can’t sound relaxing it is meant to be aggressive. Well not true. Having literally so much crap going on in the music industry and I am pretty sure that guys like Freddie Mercury are rolling over their graves by knowing how some stupid DJ out of nowhere is ruining their legacies. Because this is it anyone can be a DJ today or call himself music producer. Being able to play a musical instrument is not mandatory, even being able to hold it right is not mandatory hell just having seen a picture on google of a guitar would simply be enough. The next step would be downloading a DJ software and you are set. Any sound that you can actually come up with is music and should be extended to 20 minutes at least to be able to be named mix or something. It is this much how I hate the house shit and techno. I hate to see it ruin the rock music and any other genre that has artists that have busted their asses to be where they are. But anyways thank you Art of dying for defending the honor of rock. It is the only vivid music, the only type of music that is actually alive and every single tune of it breaths. I think that Vices and Virtues is a must have to any hardcore rock fan. Get it on iTunes, get it on CD, DVD get a cassette of it if you can but get it!
